Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze inventory, purchasing, and fulfillment data to maintain product availability and support customer service objectives
Establish and maintain inventory parameters balancing service levels with inventory turnover goals
Manage item-level and distribution-center-level demand forecasts
Evaluate inventory requirements and generate purchase orders for replenishment and inventory strategies
Monitor inventory trends, forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory performance metrics
Develop and support network fulfillment strategies balancing supplier constraints with customer demand
Collect, analyze, and report inventory, sales, and operational data
Plan, coordinate, and track initiatives maintaining customer fill rates during projects, supply disruptions, or business events
Support process improvements, inventory optimization, and operational excellence initiatives
Serve as a subject matter resource and support training and knowledge sharing across the analyst team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant experience in inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, procurement, supply chain analysis, replenishment planning, or a related field
Experience working with inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, or supply chain processes
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience analyzing data and using results to support business decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
Experience with inventory planning, replenishment, procurement, or demand forecasting systems
Knowledge of supply chain planning methodologies and inventory control practices
Experience supporting distribution center, logistics, healthcare distribution, or product supply operations
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
Experience creating reports, dashboards, or operational metrics
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
