About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the Pharmacy Value Stream Release Train Engineer and chief facilitator across multiple teams
  • Establish and improve value stream and ART-level operating cadences
  • Facilitate PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and PI execution reviews
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional planning and execution events
  • Prepare teams and leaders for PI Planning by aligning priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, objectives, and backlog readiness
  • Facilitate Program Board creation, confidence voting, risk ROAMing, and capture of committed and stretch PI objectives
  • Manage visibility of cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments
  • Monitor and improve system flow, address bottlenecks, mediate conflicts, and escalate unresolved issues
  • Track performance, flow metrics, ART health, and delivery outcomes
  • Use AI-enabled analytics and dashboards to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and risks
  • Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops, retrospectives, problem-solving sessions, and improvement backlogs
  • Coach teams and leaders on Lean-Agile principles, decentralized decision-making, and system-level thinking
  • Align Product Management, Technology, User Experience, Data, portfolio partners, and business leadership
  • Communicate delivery risks, dependencies, decisions, and improvement opportunities
  • Use AI-assisted tools for facilitation, scenario modeling, dependency management, predictive insights, sequencing, and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Agile delivery, program delivery, product development, technology, or a related field
  • Experience supporting Agile teams in a scaled environment
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events
  • Strong working knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow, and continuous improvement practices
  • Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems, apply sound judgment with limited direction, anticipate change, and redirect efforts
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate with delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners
  • Strong systems thinking
  • Experience with Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Atlassian and Miro
