  • Advise senior biopharma leaders on commercialization strategy, market access, patient support programs, specialty pharmacy operations, launch planning, network strategy, analytics, and innovation
  • Serve as executive escalation point for key client relationships
  • Identify opportunities, risks, and market shifts affecting client success
  • Serve as executive sponsor for a portfolio of strategic manufacturer partnerships
  • Establish relationships with executives, brand teams, market access leaders, commercial leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead strategic account planning focused on growth, performance optimization, patient outcomes, and retention
  • Oversee executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, launch governance meetings, and performance discussions
  • Directly lead and develop strategic account leaders
  • Establish performance expectations, coaching plans, development opportunities, and succession planning
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Support cross-functional alignment across operations, implementation, provider engagement, quality, analytics, patient services, technology, and business development

  • Partner with manufacturers on product launches, new indications, line extensions, and lifecycle management
  • Leverage organizational and enterprise capabilities to drive market uptake, patient access, and provider satisfaction
  • Serve as an industry expert and thought leader on specialty pharmacy, oncology, rare disease, payer dynamics, reimbursement trends, patient support innovation, and market conditions
  • Represent the organization at conferences, advisory boards, client meetings, and executive forums
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks affecting client satisfaction, patient experience, operational performance, or business growth
  • Lead executive-level issue resolution for high-priority client concerns
  • Develop mitigation strategies and action plans for market changes, competitive pressures, performance challenges, or regulatory developments
  • Ensure transparent communication with internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Travel for client meetings, industry conferences, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience
  • Minimum 12 years of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturer, market access, or related industry experience
  • Minimum 6 years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive leadership experience managing managers, directors, or senior-level individual contributors
  • Demonstrated experience supporting oncology, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or complex pharmaceutical commercialization programs
  • Proven success managing strategic biopharma partnerships and executive-level relationships
