About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute cyclical HR programs including performance management, compensation, onboarding/offboarding, and succession/talent management
- Lead complex HR processes across large or highly matrixed business units and functions
- Facilitate Talent Review, Performance & Development, and organization design review sessions
- Prepare pre-reads, data pulls, analyses, workforce-impact materials, and executive-ready narratives
- Support organizational design activities and accurate downstream HRIS execution
- Coordinate communications and adoption across HRBP portfolios
- Coordinate manager-facing resources for core people processes
- Contribute to culture, engagement, workforce planning, and organizational strategy activities
- Provide change coordination for transformation programs, restructures, and M&A integration
- Analyze HRIS (Workday) reports and Power BI dashboards to identify trends, risks, workforce issues, and program effectiveness
- Address data quality and align recommendations with business-unit strategy and talent priorities
- Identify cross-business-unit employee and manager experience patterns and recommend improvements
- Leverage AI-enabled and digital HR tools to improve insights and streamline HR delivery
- Align workforce planning and change activities across large or highly matrixed portfolios
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in HR operations, program coordination, or HR support roles
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS (Workday) and reporting tools (Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends/risks, and lead measurement of HR program effectiveness
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, audience appropriate messages
- Ability to navigate and apply the HR operating model, working with limited guidance and using judgement when escalating
- Curiosity and emerging comfort with AI-enabled HR technologies and digital tools
- Ability to operate with limited guidance across large or highly matrixed business units
- Experience supporting org design and change initiatives
- Experience in a large, matrixed environment; union experience an asset
- Advanced Excel and/or HR analytics depth
- Experience integrating AI-supported insights or automation
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
