About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide scientific and research expertise across multiple concurrent real-world oncology research projects
  • Lead development and refinement of scientific protocols, including statistical analysis sections
  • Serve as scientific point of contact for project sponsors and cross-functional teams
  • Attend client meetings and support discussions of research methods, results, and interpretation
  • Evaluate complex research questions from internal and external stakeholders
  • Apply real-world data expertise to define study data requirements and support data collection
  • Collaborate with abstraction and biostatistics teams on eCRFs and data specifications
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables, including final reports, presentations, and summaries of analytic findings
  • Review and interpret statistical analysis results to assess data quality and develop evidence-based conclusions
  • Complete regulatory and compliance documents
  • Support amendments and proposals for new research opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in observational/real-world data (RWD) based research or Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR)
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Population Science, Pharmacy, Healthcare Economics, Clinical Research or related clinical discipline required
  • Doctoral degree preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise using structured and unstructured EHR, claims, mortality, SDOH, and patient-reported outcomes data
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods
  • Medical writing expertise, including literature reviews, scientific protocols, reports, presentations, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
  • Ability to critically review and interpret research findings and statistical analysis results
  • Oncology and pharmaceutical/CRO experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare, safety, regulatory, and compliance processes
  • Ability to contribute across multiple concurrent HEOR/RWR studies
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, evolving matrix environment and adapt to new processes, technologies, and AI-enabled approaches
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Copilot
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available
