About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute low-complexity operational processes for insurable and/or non-insurable benefits
  • Process benefit changes, including enrollments, terminations, amendments, upgrades, and/or extension plans, using carrier and insurer portals and systems
  • Download billing packages and send them to clients in an organized and secure manner
  • Review invoices and verify data and information in billing package files
  • Review received documents, identifying inconsistencies, omissions, errors, incorrect numbers, and outdated information
  • Update tracking records for completed changes
  • Provide personalized customer service and clarify billing and/or cost allocation questions
  • Review dependents who reach the age of majority and process terminations due to age-limit rules
  • Identify improvement opportunities and suggest actions for the continuous improvement of operational performance
  • Perform related activities as needed by the department, with training, qualification, and guidance from the immediate supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in insurance operations involving health, dental, and life insurance products
