About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own content strategy and execution for law firm clients
- Edit, refresh, and improve legal content across practice area pages, location pages, blog posts, FAQs, landing pages, press releases, brochures, and other client-facing materials
- Use AI workflows and tools to edit content for accuracy, usefulness, structure, voice, and originality
- Research legal concepts, statutes, jurisdiction-specific rules, and other factual information
- Apply editorial judgment to determine readers' information needs, content placement, and clarity
- Collaborate with SEO to improve internal linking, SEO titles, meta descriptions, and SEO/AIO practices
- Support case studies, video scripts, email campaigns, press releases, branded content, and other initiatives
- Help establish client brand identities through slogans, mission statements, and client values
- Guide uploaders and assist with WordPress updates and content migrations
- Collaborate with SEO, Strategy, Design, Development, and the Content Director on strategy, client priorities, website builds, user experience, standards, and process improvement
- Identify and resolve quality issues before client submission
- Apply feedback, raise problems early, adapt to changing client, tool, and search needs, and improve content processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Editorial judgment
- Legal research, including legal concepts, statutes, jurisdiction-specific rules, and factual information
- Basic SEO awareness and adherence to SEO & AIO best practices
- Experience or willingness to use AI workflows and tools to substantially edit content
- Ability to edit, refresh, and improve legal and client-facing content
- Ability to optimize internal link structure, SEO titles, and meta descriptions
- Ability to create branded slogans, mission statements, and client values
- Ability to provide guidance to uploaders and assist with WordPress updates and content migrations
- Ability to catch factual, legal, linking, formatting, and other issues before submission
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
- Willingness to learn and stretch beyond existing skills
