About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the project management office for studio work, including a unified view of active projects, regular review cadence, and escalation paths
  • Lead the most complex studio projects from scoping through delivery
  • Own project plans, targets, budgets, and risks
  • Translate customer requirements into delivery plans and plan capacity ahead of demand
  • Coordinate hardware, engineering, operations, and partner teams around one plan
  • Clear cross-functional blockers
  • Hire, coach, and lead a team of project managers
  • Report project status and risks weekly to the Head of Studio

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 8+ years in technical program management, management consulting, product operations, or operations leadership
  • At least 2 years managing a team
  • Record of leading cross-functional programs to fixed deadlines, ideally involving hardware
  • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into a clear plan and provide leadership with clear trade-off recommendations
  • Experience with hardware pilots, computer vision or robotics data collection, or production settings such as film or manufacturing is advantageous
  • Experience scaling delivery through external vendors or partners is advantageous
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where they reside
  • Applicants must regularly use AI tools as a core part of day-to-day work
