About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze benefit package requirements
- Provide stakeholders with feedback on feasibility and benefit configuration requirements
- Enter benefit data into claims processing systems according to approved benefit structures
- Set up new policies and revise existing policies on applicable administrative systems
- Perform activities related to onboarding new groups within established accuracy and efficiency targets
- Work with multiple teams, including Sales, Implementation, and IT
- Analyze and respond to general and complex inquiries from members, internal and external stakeholders, and brokers
- Maintain and update workflows and tools with appropriate documentation
- Adhere to and interpret business processes
- Act as a key contact to support daily decisions and provide recommendations for operational efficiencies
- Troubleshoot administration service issues
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, computer science or related field; and/or equivalent experience (1-3 years)
- Experience in group benefits considered a strong asset
- Previous success as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
- Experience with data management
- Query writing and optimization
- Experience with Discoverer, SQL, data analysis, and PowerBI
- Problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented approach
- Clear, concise, and friendly communication with clients, members, and internal stakeholders
- Customer-oriented, innovative, positive, collaborative, and open to new ways of doing things
- Accountability for work and client experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge
- French proficiency considered an asset
