About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and manage Médecins du Monde France’s internal communications strategy
- Develop a strategy aligned with organizational objectives and identify internal communication needs
- Coordinate and manage internal communications initiatives
- Engage and lead the internal communications network
- Develop and manage the department’s budget
- Support teams with their communications projects
- Develop internal communications plans for strategic and organization-wide topics
- Oversee large-scale internal events
- Manage internal communications tools and oversee the creation and distribution of content
- Produce content and co-manage La Boussole, the organization’s internal media outlet
- Promote contribution processes and participate in cross-functional projects
- Monitor developments in the profession
- Manage two Communications Project Managers
- Supervise team members and coordinate communications stakeholders
- Ensure that internal communications reflect Médecins du Monde’s values, mission, and culture
- Implement initiatives that foster engagement and improve the employee experience
- Track and evaluate the impact of initiatives using key performance indicators
- Gather employee feedback and implement corrective actions
- Prepare the department’s activity reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a master’s degree (business school or communications degree)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in communications
- Previous experience working in the non-profit sector
- Proficiency in communications tools and formats, including print, web, Microsoft Office, and related tools
- Ability to engage and bring project stakeholders on board
- Strong writing skills and excellent verbal communication skills
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
- Comfortable managing change
- A criminal record extract (B3) will be required for all successful candidates
- International sanctions-list screening may be conducted
Benefits
Comp & perks- Fixed-term contract from December 14, 2026, to April 16, 2027
- Gross monthly salary of €4,644
- Remote work: up to 110 days per year, with a minimum on-site presence of 5 days per month
