About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate finance-related workstreams for the management control department at headquarters, in France and internationally
- Continuously improve finance processes, procedures and tools
- Implement processes, procedures and tools while managing change and providing user support
- Coordinate requirements for enhancements to finance systems
- Gather and analyze the needs of finance teams
- Participate in design workshops and draft finance requirements documents and functional specifications
- Oversee user acceptance testing and verify that results comply with requirements
- Ensure the quality of data migration
- Contribute to end-of-project reviews
- Lead the maintenance, development and updating of SAP, SAC and SAGA
- Propose developments to external providers and coordinate with the software vendor and IT
- Map and harmonize financial processes, procedures and tools
- Lead the deployment of Moodle to replace the procedures library
- Coordinate and facilitate working groups and team workshops
- Disseminate and update procedures and propose monitoring indicators
- Participate in financial analyses within the scope of responsibility
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training modules
- Participate in briefings and debriefings for finance administrators and coordinators
- Coordinate annual training programs and ensure their quality in the field
- Manage a team comprising a Process, Systems and Training Officer and SAP Finance Deployment Specialists
- Oversee the recruitment, performance monitoring and evaluation of team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in economics and finance, business school or equivalent
- Strong experience in financial management within an NGO
- Field experience as a Finance Coordinator
- Experience in training and needs analysis
- Significant experience managing and training teams
- Previous experience with an ERP deployment
- Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP or equivalent) and its finance functions as a user, including procurement, accounting and controlling modules or equivalent
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office)
- Thoroughness, strong organizational skills, resilience under stress and ability to work at a sustained pace
- Ability to work as part of a team, build consensus, anticipate and take initiative
- Strong facilitation, public speaking and teaching skills
- Ability to make decisions and resolve issues
- Strong writing skills
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken
- Spanish proficiency is an advantage
- A French B3 criminal record extract is required for all successful candidates
- International sanctions and watchlist checks may be conducted

Comp & perks- Fixed-term replacement contract with an unspecified end date, with guaranteed visibility through at least January 6, 2027
