About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain and review patients' medical and psychosocial history information relevant to care
- Conduct physical examinations according to company guidelines
- Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs
- Deliver preventive medicine counseling, program counseling, and product and supplement education
- Follow prescription guidelines under the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician
- Maintain patient-care and medication-management documentation in the EMR
- Review patient progress and manage care accordingly
- Facilitate referrals to healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Conduct follow-up calls to discuss patient progress and address concerns
- Review Weight Tracker Report, Slipping Report, and assigned KPIs weekly
- Provide clinical oversight and mentor clinical staff
- Serve as the company liaison for medical and clinical affairs at the locations
- Participate in ongoing training and serve as the in-house trainer for medical staff
- Improve franchise clinical operations' efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity
- Develop strategic recommendations to improve patient experience
- Participate in test pilots for new programs, services, and products
- Develop and monitor project work plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- DEA Certification
- Experience obtaining and reviewing medical and psychosocial histories
- Ability to conduct physical examinations
- Ability to order and review laboratory studies, diagnostic procedures, and ECGs
- Ability to provide preventive medicine, program, product, and supplement counseling
- Ability to adhere to prescription guidelines under a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician
- Ability to maintain patient-care and medication-management documentation in the EMR
- Ability to review patient progress and manage patient care
- Ability to facilitate referrals to healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to develop and monitor project work plans
