About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due accounts
Perform customer credit analysis as needed
Initiate collection calls, emails, faxes, and letters
Work with Advertising Managers on escalating collection actions
Distribute A/R aging reports and discuss issues with Advertising Managers
Use and maintain the A/R collections module in advertising systems
Perform customer revenue and A/R trend analysis
Research, interpret, and resolve complicated account issues with minimal supervision
Collaborate with Sales, Billing, Cash Applications, and GL to ensure accurate billing and timely collections
Refine procedures and demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and ethical behavior when servicing clients and communicating with others
Oversee complex and specialized accounts, including Adtaxi and other problem or special-handling accounts
Serve as the subject matter expert for Adtaxi and specialized high-complexity portfolios

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must reside in Colorado or Ohio
Comprehensive understanding of program-specific invoicing, revenue recognition, and payment processes
Accounting and analytical skills to reconcile complex transactions, investigate discrepancies, and resolve billing issues
Strong sense of urgency combined with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas as needed
10 key proficiency

Interpersonal, team collaboration, and customer service skills
Advanced knowledge of multiple billing systems, platforms, and specialized advertising programs
GED or high school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
