About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery
  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
  • Manage a mixture of consulting, medical and surgical cases
  • Work three days per week at the Newcastle-under-Lyme practice and one day per week at the Stoke-on-Trent practice
  • Undertake one or two days of sole charge per week while accessing clinical support when needed
  • Work collaboratively within the practice team
  • Share skills and support Medivet communities’ development
  • Develop clinical interests through clinical communities, further training and certificates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified MRCVS
  • Passion for clinical excellence and client care
  • Ability to manage consults and routine surgeries independently during sole-charge periods
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Willingness to share skills and support Medivet communities’ development
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Willingness to participate in a future 1 in 3 Saturday rota (09:00–14:00)
