Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take ownership of a business-critical module, such as CRM or quote generation, from design through deployment.
  • Break down legacy code into high-performance, standalone microservices.
  • Migrate existing functionality.
  • Write robust TypeScript code.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests.
  • Use GitHub Copilot and similar AI tools for development.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Apply the OWASP Top 10 and improve service security and speed.
  • Collaborate with junior and senior developers, Product Owners, and UX teams.
  • Share knowledge, conduct code reviews, and increase squad velocity.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
  • Initial professional experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Node.js backends.
  • Basic knowledge of React for frontend development.
  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban, pull requests, and CI pipelines.
  • Experience with coding assistants or a strong willingness to develop this expertise.
  • Knowledge of scalable code, clean APIs, and quality tools such as Sonar or Snyk.
  • English proficiency at C1+ level; English is the company language.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and GraphQL is a plus.
  • Nice to have: AWS, GitHub Actions, IaC (CDK/Terraform), SaaS scaling, multi-tenant architectures, and experience in the construction/trades or PropTech sectors.
