About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with servers and network equipment under the team’s guidance
- Help run and organize cables within the data center
- Support equipment inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
- Participate in infrastructure projects and learn how the team keeps systems running reliably
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current undergraduate student entering their junior or senior year
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in hardware, networking, and hands-on technology problem-solving
- Basic familiarity with computer systems
- Coursework or personal projects involving Linux, networking, or hardware are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in person at the Midtown Manhattan office during the summer
- Permanent residence in one of MEMX’s approved states for remote work during the internship: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Utah
