About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide psychiatric mental health care to adults aged 18+
- Conduct 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups
- Provide 60-minute follow-ups when clinically needed
- Deliver telehealth services remotely
- See patients in person at the Phoenix clinic at least 1 day per week
- Participate in weekly PMHNP team meetings for case discussion and peer support
- Participate in continuing education with an MD, psychiatrist, or guest speaker
- Review daily Arizona CSPMP/PMP reports
- Exercise clinical judgment in patient care
- Treat preferred patient populations and conditions, with teens and geriatric patients optional
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Arizona PMHNP license in good standing
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Active Arizona DEA license
- 2+ years of post-licensure outpatient psychiatric experience
- Willingness to commit to at least 1 in-person day per week at the Phoenix clinic
- New graduates are not eligible
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week
- W2 or 1099 employment arrangement
