About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients to understand their needs and turn them into clear technical plans
- Design the technical structure of software solutions
- Help clients move AI solutions from proof of concept to production
- Build proofs of concept to test ideas before committing to them
- Review code, guide developers toward good decisions, and pair with them when needed
- Use AI agents and coding assistants to speed up design, development, and testing
- Debug production problems and improve delivery pipelines with the team
- Keep stakeholders informed, manage expectations, and keep technical direction on track
- Take technical ownership from initial design sessions through production delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in a software design or development role
- Solid understanding of how software systems are built, connected and maintained
- Experience working with clients or in a consulting environment
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical people
- Hands-on mentality: you do not just advise, you build and test
- Initiative: you do not wait to be asked, and you make the people around you better
- Use AI tools in daily work, or willingness to learn how they improve you and your team
- Fluent spoken and written English and Dutch
- CV and short motivation required when applying
- GitHub link requested if available
