About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute investment implementations for complex portfolio transitions and high net worth clients
  • Serve as a point person for newly acquired firms assimilating to Mercer Advisors’ investment platform and models
  • Develop investment deliverables for prospective clients to support organic growth
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Trading departments
  • Communicate investment philosophy and available investment strategies
  • Provide proactive and timely status updates on portfolio implementations
  • Lead presentations on various investment topics to Wealth Advisor teams
  • Support new Portfolio Consultants in developing core competencies within the investment platform
  • Match Advisor implementation goals with available investment strategies
  • Draft, support, and audit analytics, proposals, and deliverables for Wealth Management Teams
  • Manage standardized workflows and investment processes
  • Coordinate process improvement with key central teams
  • Manage concurrent portfolio implementations to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements
  • Audit implementations for consistency with target portfolio objectives
  • Oversee implementations for high net worth and ultra high net worth clients
  • Provide insights to optimize client portfolios and enhance the client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred (preferably Business, Economics, Psychology, or Finance related)
  • CFP® and/or Series 65 required
  • CFA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of financial industry related experience
  • Working knowledge of Orion and Morningstar preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred, including advanced data analytics
  • Strong problem-solving experience and skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and highly collaborative approach
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Availability during standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, with occasional early or late hours
  • Ability to work independently and within a team on multiple time-sensitive projects with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Dedicated home office workspace or professional office environment free of interruptions
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
