About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write expert-level prompts in Indonesian across specialized scientific topics
- Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations
- Help train and enhance advanced AI models through human scientific expertise
- Work on projects for leading AI labs and enterprises
- Complete work on an independent, flexible schedule
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field, ongoing or completed
- Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian
- Business-level written English
- Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques in the relevant subfield
- Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information
- Ability to write prompts across chemical, biological, or radiological and nuclear subject areas
- Applicants must not require H1-B or STEM OPT support at this time
- Independent contractor engagement
- Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background qualifies, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics
- Demonstrated depth in a specific scientific subfield
- Research or coursework touching on chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content is desirable
- Based in Indonesia or wider Southeast Asia is preferred but not required
