About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete and narrate real industrial and manufacturing engineering tasks on a Mac
- Work through process, operations, and production engineering workflows
- Create high-quality training data for advanced AI models
- Support a research project with a leading AI lab
- Explain engineering decisions and reasoning while working
- Submit a resume and complete a 3-minute AI interviewer conversation
- Complete a brief paid assessment
- Work approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Begin immediately if possible
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher
- Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with process design, lean/Six Sigma, production planning, quality control, or supply chain analysis
- Experience using spreadsheets, CAD, process-mapping, or statistical tools
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Masters studies, or 2–3 years of relevant professional experience plus a Bachelor's degree from a prestigious institution
- Ability to clearly explain engineering decisions while working
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
