About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a working financial model for an assigned consumer/leisure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack
  • Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions
  • Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against fixed criteria
  • Provide a short written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard
  • Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years total experience
  • Approximately 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, ideally in Paris, London, or elsewhere in Europe
  • 1–2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity
  • Current or recent Associate experience at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund
  • Consumer, leisure, or multi-site services focus, such as fitness clubs, owned versus franchise, or multi-site roll-ups
  • Ability to build a financial model from source documents without a template
  • English-speaking
  • Able to commit approximately 20–25 hours over 1.5–2 weeks
  • Must be eligible to work without H1-B or STEM OPT support
