About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with AI researchers to identify best-in-class UI and UX patterns
- Define clear principles and rubrics for excellent design
- Build polished, interactive web prototypes using code or AI-native tools
- Review AI-generated interfaces and prototypes
- Provide specific, actionable written feedback on layout, hierarchy, interaction, motion, and visual polish
- Explore visual styles, frameworks, and animation approaches across productivity tools, consumer apps, and games
- Collaborate with designers and researchers to maintain standards and improve quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience as a product designer, design lead, design engineer, or creative front-end engineer at a product- or design-led company or top design agency
- Hands-on skills building working web prototypes in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Tailwind, or AI-native tools such as Cursor, v0, Lovable, Bolt, or Framer
- Strong grounding in user-centered design, interaction design, and rapid prototyping
- Senior-level design judgment and ability to explain design decisions clearly
- Ability to engage reliably for 40 hours per week during weekdays
- Clear written communication and ability to give precise, constructive design feedback
- Nice to have: Fluency with Framer Motion, GSAP, Rive, Lottie, After Effects, 3D, WebGL, or game design experience in 2D or 3D
