About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI
- Apply graphic design or UI design expertise to ensure prompts and responses reflect real-world design processes
- Help shape how AI understands and simulates multimodal design workflows
- Complete an AI interview covering creative workflows, user experience planning, and systemic design thinking
- Share screen and walk through a design showcasing design fundamentals and aesthetic
- Submit a portfolio for evaluation
- Work on projects that train and enhance AI systems
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Complete projects on an independent, flexible schedule; projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Over 1+ years of experience in graphic or UI design
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
- Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK or Australia
- Strong background creating high-quality visual designs for websites/apps and brand/marketing assets
- Unique aesthetic sensibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure to LLMs and GenAI prompting
- Excellent visual design experience, skills, and a portfolio
- Applicants must be able to share their screen for the interview task
- Independent contractor status
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
