About the role

Record high-quality voice samples across conversational, narrative, instructional, and other diverse scripts
Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required
Contribute recordings for training and evaluating next-generation text-to-speech systems
Provide voice recordings exclusively for the client's internal CX AI Agent; recordings may be cloned for this use case and will not be sold, licensed, or reused elsewhere

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native English speaker with an authentic Australian accent, currently based in Australia
Clear, natural, and expressive voice
Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery
Availability for a single approximately 4-hour recording session, with the possibility of a further session of similar length
Must be comfortable with voice cloning for the client's CX AI Agent
Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets preferred
Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper preferred
Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles preferred
Independent contractor status
H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
