About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Record high-quality voice samples across conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts
  • Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
  • Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
  • Follow recording guidelines for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
  • Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required
  • Contribute recordings to training and evaluation of next-generation text-to-speech systems
  • Recordings will be used exclusively for the client's internal CX AI Agent and may be voice-cloned for that use case

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Native or native-level French speaker
  • Standard, neutral, accent-free French delivery with no strong regional accent or foreign-language influence
  • Clear, natural, and expressive voice
  • Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
  • Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
  • Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery
  • Availability for a single approximately 4-hour recording session, with a possible second session
  • Comfortable with voice cloning for the client's CX AI Agent
  • Preferred: experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
  • Preferred: familiarity with Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
  • Preferred: ability to deliver multiple vocal styles
  • Must be engaged as an independent contractor
  • H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
