About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Record high-quality voice samples across conversational, narrative, instructional, and other scripts
- Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
- Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
- Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
- Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required
- Contribute recordings used exclusively for the client's internal CX AI Agent
- Participate in an approximately 4-hour recording engagement, with a possible additional session
- Work on projects supporting the training and enhancement of AI systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native English speaker with a neutral, standard UK English accent
- Currently based in the United Kingdom
- Clear, natural, and expressive voice
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
- Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery
- Availability for a single approximately 4-hour recording session, with possible further session of similar length
- Must be comfortable with voice cloning for the client's CX AI Agent
- Independent contractor status
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
- Preferred: background in customer support, contact centers, or other CX roles
- Preferred: experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
- Preferred: familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
- Preferred: ability to deliver multiple vocal styles
