About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR and workforce data related to recruitment, retention, turnover, training, benefits, and compensation
  • Prepare dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational HR decisions through data validation
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across HR systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain HR applications in assigned areas
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, focusing on staffing efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Support implementation of new technologies, systems, and tools to enhance service delivery
  • Generate reports that track, measure, and capture HR compliance
  • Assist in maintaining confidential employee records and assist with audits and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate across HR and department teams to understand business needs and deliver relevant insights
  • Provide analytical support for HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and benefit utilization reviews
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on department need

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of experience in HR operations, HR analytics, data analysis, or related internship experience
  • Proficiency with HR systems, software, or databases
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, charts)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and reporting platforms is a plus
  • Understanding of basic HR principles and HR metrics
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately and consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Adaptability to change priorities and environments
  • Collaborative mindset with customer-service orientation and cultural sensitivity
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
  • Workday HCM experience (preferred)
