About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning and managing renovations, construction measures, and building projects from needs assessment through completion and handover
Supporting existing-building and new-build projects across service phases 1 to 8
Serving as a point of contact for managers regarding the planning and implementation of requested construction measures
Coordinating interfaces between internal clients, MERKUR GROUP subsidiaries, and project stakeholders
Developing comprehensive concepts and constructive solution approaches
Presenting concepts and solution approaches to managers and executive management
Supporting due diligence processes for purchase price determination

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor’s, or Master’s) or comparable qualification
Professional experience managing and coordinating building construction projects
Knowledge of relevant building regulations and technical standards
Ideally, authorization to submit building applications
Good knowledge of design, planning approval, and detailed execution planning
Understanding of structural and technical interrelationships
Good knowledge of MS Office and CAD
CAFM knowledge is an advantage
Willingness to travel for projects and specific assignments (25%), including internationally
Confident and professional demeanor
Strong teamworking skills
Good command of English
