About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting construction projects in existing buildings and new-build projects across service phases 1 to 8
  • Planning and managing conversions, construction measures, and construction projects from needs assessment through completion and handover
  • Serving as a point of contact for executives regarding the planning and implementation of requested construction measures
  • Coordinating interfaces between internal clients, MERKUR GROUP subsidiaries, and project stakeholders
  • Developing comprehensive concepts and technically sound solutions
  • Presenting concepts and solutions to executives and management teams
  • Supporting due diligence processes for purchase price determination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor's, or Master's) or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience overseeing and managing building construction projects
  • Knowledge of applicable building regulations and technical standards
  • Ideally, authorization to submit building applications
  • Good knowledge of design, permitting, and construction documentation
  • Understanding of structural and technical interrelationships
  • Creative approach to work
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CAD
  • CAFM knowledge is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for projects and specific assignments (25%), including internationally
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Strong teamworking skills
  • Good command of English
