About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and manage renovations, construction measures, and construction projects from needs assessment through completion and handover
  • Serve as a point of contact for managers and executives
  • Support the coordination and implementation of requested construction measures
  • Coordinate collaboration between MERKUR GROUP subsidiaries and project stakeholders at MERKUR Immobilien, including teams responsible for technical building services and commercial property management
  • Continuously monitor project objectives
  • Ensure compliance with the project budget and schedule
  • Become familiar with the CAFM system and maintain, update, and document projects
  • Support due diligence processes for purchase price determination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree or vocational training in a construction-related field, such as civil engineering, construction technician, master craftsman, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience managing, coordinating, and leading building construction projects
  • Independent and structured approach to work
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Good command of English is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, CAFM, and CAD is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn and work with the CAFM system
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposes, including some international travel (approximately 25%)
