About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage IT projects for customers from requirements gathering through go-live
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Provide transparent updates on progress and required actions
- Gather, refine, and prioritize requirements in collaboration with business and IT departments
- Provide functional leadership to interdisciplinary teams comprising consultants, developers, and customer employees
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, including at management level
- Prepare status reports and lead steering committee meetings
- Manage escalations, risks, and conflicting objectives
- Drive decision-making
- Help shape project management standards, templates, and methodologies at MESKRU
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of experience independently managing IT projects with budget and P&L responsibility
- Led multiple projects from kickoff through go-live involving more than one organization
- Confident using traditional, agile, and hybrid project methodologies
- Good understanding of IT system landscapes, interfaces, and migration projects
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including during critical project phases
- Structured, self-directed approach to managing multiple projects in parallel
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience with Atlassian implementations or migrations is a plus
- Experience with cloud migrations, tool consolidation, or platform implementations is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Professional Scrum Master is a plus
- Experience in presales, effort estimation, and proposal preparation is a plus
