About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Further development, maintenance, and support of Forge apps in TypeScript/JavaScript
Development of modular, well-structured code based on clear team conventions
Integration of external systems via REST APIs and webhooks
Conducting code reviews, analyzing issues, and fixing bugs
Reading logs and monitoring runtime and performance
Creating and maintaining ScriptRunner solutions, including listeners, workflow post-functions, validators, conditions, behaviours, and scheduled jobs
Designing and implementing automations in Jira and Jira Service Management
Providing standard Atlassian consulting services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid programming fundamentals, ideally in multiple languages such as TypeScript, Groovy, and Python
Programming experience in TypeScript/JavaScript for Forge development
Initial experience with Jira and Confluence
Willingness to tackle bug fixing and troubleshooting
Structured approach to work, along with enthusiasm for teamwork and technical communication
Very good German and English language skills
Experience with Confluence or other Marketplace apps is a plus
Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations and operating models is a plus
Knowledge of Forge or automation is a plus
Atlassian certifications are welcome
