About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and support Forge apps in TypeScript/JavaScript
- Integrate external systems via REST APIs and webhooks
- Conduct code reviews, analyze errors, and fix bugs
- Read logs and monitor runtime and performance
- Create and maintain ScriptRunner solutions (listeners, workflow post-functions, validators, conditions, behaviours, scheduled jobs)
- Design and implement automations in Jira and Jira Service Management
- Perform standard Atlassian consulting activities
- Collaborate within the team using modular, well-structured code and clear conventions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid programming fundamentals, ideally in multiple languages (e.g., TypeScript, Groovy, Python)
- Programming experience in TypeScript/JavaScript for Forge development
- Initial experience with Jira and Confluence
- Willingness to tackle bug fixing and troubleshooting
- Structured working style and enthusiasm for teamwork and technical communication
- Excellent German and English skills
- Nice to have: Experience with Confluence or additional Marketplace apps
- Nice to have: Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations and operating models
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Forge or automations
- Atlassian certifications are welcome
