About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop new features for the Picker application in Kotlin (coroutines, Jetpack Compose)
  • Collaborate with product owners and business teams
  • Participate in the ongoing modernization of the application: migration to Compose, adoption of Clean Architecture, and improvement of CI/CD
  • Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for the application
  • Analyze and resolve production incidents
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure service continuity for in-store order preparation
  • Produce reliable, maintainable, and tested code
  • Participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, and automation
  • Account for performance on mobile devices, variable in-store connectivity, and local data management with Room

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Kotlin: Expert – Required
  • Coroutines: Expert – Required
  • Compose: Proficient – Important
  • Room: Proficient – Important
  • Apply technical best practices and standards (Clean Architecture, performance, security, and documentation)
  • Fluency in French (required)
  • Ability to work closely with product owners, business teams, and other developers
  • Rigor in addressing on-the-ground constraints (variable connectivity and performance on mobile devices)
  • Availability to participate in the on-call rotation
  • Senior Mobile Developer: 4 to 10 years of experience
  • Significant experience in software engineering and development of mobile e-commerce applications
