About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the design, deployment, and evolution of datacenter network and security infrastructures
- Contribute to the implementation of network solutions in complex environments with a high volume of equipment
- Analyze and resolve complex technical incidents
- Optimize performance and contribute to infrastructure availability
- Participate in the implementation of new network technologies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams, as well as specialists from other technical domains
- Support less experienced team members and share technical knowledge
- Keep technical documentation up to date and monitor technological developments within the scope
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven/significant experience in datacenter network engineering, ideally in complex environments with a high volume of equipment
- Strong command of Cisco routing and switching: NX-OS, Nexus 9K, IOS XE, ASR, IOS XR, and ASR-NCS
- Knowledge of datacenter architectures: VXLAN, Cisco ACI, and virtualized network infrastructures
- Strong command of advanced routing: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS/LDP, and MPLS Segment Routing
- Knowledge of SDN architectures and network virtualization solutions, particularly NSX-T
- Knowledge of EfficientIP DNS solutions
- Awareness of datacenter infrastructure security considerations
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and share expertise
- Working proficiency in English
- Availability for on-call rotations and out-of-hours interventions
- Ability to work on implementation projects in a demanding banking environment
- Availability for an assignment in Guyancourt, with on-site presence three days per week
- Proficiency in NSX-T is a plus but not an essential prerequisite
