About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to defining the test strategy
- Write test cases based on User Stories and functional specifications
- Prepare test data and execute test scenarios
- Identify, track, and document defects
- Provide progress reports and test summaries
- Contribute to the automation of regression tests
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Coordinate a team of testers when necessary
- Contribute to enhancements of an e-commerce platform as part of a large-scale digital project in the retail sector
- Collaborate with the Quality team and meet with the client as part of the recruitment process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in functional testing and application validation
- Strong knowledge of API environments
- Experience writing and executing test plans
- Defect management and quality reporting experience
- Experience with test automation
- Challenge specifications when necessary
- Proactive and able to make recommendations
- Communicate in a positive and constructive manner
- 4 to 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or validation
- Experience in e-commerce environments
- Participation in Agile/Scrum projects
