About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, scope, and prioritize high-value automation use cases
- Support Network & Security teams in their development efforts and NetDevOps best practices
- Design and develop complex, cross-functional automation solutions
- Define, promote, and enforce development standards
- Produce the associated technical documentation
- Train teams and help them build expertise in automation practices
- Participate in a recruitment process involving a phone screening, a technical interview, and a meeting with the client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent command of Python, Ansible, GitLab, and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Experience with automation environments and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Familiarity with tools such as NetBox, Infrahub, Semaphore UI, or equivalent solutions
- Strong networking and security skills: LAN, WAN, switching, firewalling, DNS, and load balancing
- Good understanding of API management principles and infrastructure industrialization
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and proactive
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Comfortable working with operations and engineering teams
- Strong interest in automation and continuous improvement
- At least 5 years of experience in Network, Security, and/or NetDevOps environments
- Higher education degree in computer science, networking, or telecommunications
