About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align architecture with business needs and define and communicate architectural direction
- Ensure architectural consistency across the business, data, application, exchange, and technical infrastructure layers
- Promote the intrinsic quality of solutions and compliance with non-functional requirements
- Establish the architectural framework with operational teams
- Prepare decision documents and present them to the Design Authority
- Keep the architecture documentation up to date
- Provide support to teams
- Contribute to defining the architecture framework to maximize team autonomy
- Work closely with the train System Architect, Product Managers, Tech Leads, Operations, and Development teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Functional architecture: advanced level required, with more than 4 years of experience in one or more relevant environments
- Strong general knowledge of IT and architecture, including AI, software architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture, inter-application exchanges, and the integration of off-the-shelf solutions
- Experience in e-commerce or the retail sector preferred
- Architecture experience in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe Agile Release Train) preferred
- Experience with ArchiMate modeling preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and summarization skills, strategic perspective, and the ability to calibrate effort while managing multiple assignments in parallel
- Ability to find the information required to successfully carry out assignments
- More than 4 years of experience as a functional architect
