About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform general accounting duties related to month-end processes
Implement proper keeping of financial records using current technologies
Input daily transaction information in NetSuite, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Assist with billing and customer invoicing
Perform tasks within the parameters of current processes
Gain exposure to corporate accounting, month-end close processes, and Mergers & Acquisitions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current undergraduate student majoring in Accounting
Junior or Senior year in an Accounting program
High academic performance
Completed core Accounting coursework
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, applications, and methods
Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare reports
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Attention to detail and self-starter attitude with tenacity and drive
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Comfortable providing status updates on work with deadlines
Employment contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug test
Completed related internship preferred
Experience with accounting ERP systems preferred; NetSuite experience a plus
