Key responsibilities & impact

Work with multidisciplinary teams through complex projects to inform product direction
Identify opportunities where data, ML, and AI can create business value
Refine opportunities and use cases using business objectives and customer needs with measurable outcomes
Evaluate current-state data and technology landscapes, including data capture, storage, governance, and consumption
Maintain expertise across traditional ML, generative AI, and agentic systems
Develop data, AI, and technology transformation strategies
Create capability maps, dependency maps, and transformation roadmaps
Define experiments, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to reduce uncertainty
Communicate technical concepts and architectural tradeoffs to executives and business stakeholders
Translate business objectives, constraints, and outcomes to technical teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in business strategy, digital transformation, product strategy, technology strategy, or a related discipline
Experience in evaluating AI applications, identifying risks, and uncovering opportunities for enhancement
Strong understanding of modern data systems supporting business processes and analytical or AI capabilities
Working knowledge of machine learning concepts and the ML development lifecycle
Ability to prototype and create working proof-of-concept demonstrations with working code and systems integration
Ability to evaluate technical proposals and work directly with engineers, data scientists, architects, product teams, and business leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty
Technical fluency in relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, data models and schemas, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, business intelligence and analytics platforms, ML workflows, generative AI, AI agents, data security, privacy, and governance
Comfort creating functional prototypes in Python and JavaScript
