About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Embed directly with client teams to discover, scope, and deliver full-stack applications, owning problems end to end from ambiguous brief to production
Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications across the stack using React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern back-end frameworks, and cloud platforms
Identify, prototype, and productionize AI-enabled features, including LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation
Apply evaluation, guardrails, and cost/latency awareness to AI features
Use AI-assisted development tooling to improve delivery velocity while maintaining code quality
Implement infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines
Develop and maintain automated tests, including evaluation harnesses for AI features
Perform code reviews, advocate best practices, and maintain high engineering standards
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams and clients
Manage delivery expectations with client stakeholders, balancing speed, quality, and scope
Track the evolving AI and web landscape and assess where tools and models create leverage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience taking an AI feature from prototype to production, including monitoring, evaluation, and iteration once real users are in the loop (nice to have)
Experience building and managing scaled frontend architectures like microfrontends, monorepos, and shared internal libraries (nice to have)
Experience managing and evolving CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools (nice to have)
Experience building authentication and protected applications (nice to have)
Experience utilizing tools to support monitoring, logging, and securing applications, including AI observability (nice to have)
Experience architecting complex software systems (nice to have)
Experience fine-tuning, distilling, or otherwise customizing models, and a point of view on when that's warranted versus prompting or retrieval (nice to have)
Comfortable operating amid ambiguity and short feedback loops
Able and willing to lead communication with project stakeholders
Able to explain technical constraints and AI capabilities and limits to technical and non-technical audiences
