Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and deliver secure, reliable software solutions for a highly visible, mission-critical customer
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Work collaboratively to deliver technical solutions for mission-critical federal government systems
  • Support operations and maintenance, and design, develop, and modernize custom enterprise applications
  • Apply secure coding practices throughout all phases of development
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Communicate technical decisions and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and professionalism
  • Use creativity and innovation to deliver solutions meeting customer and mission needs
  • Support continuity of operations as essential personnel during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top Secret with current or previously held SCI access
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred; relevant experience may substitute
  • Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+ or higher)
  • Required certification: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, or recent/relevant software development certification
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications in mission-critical environments
  • Expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET, including WebForms, MVC, and REST APIs
  • Front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Angular and/or React
  • Back-end experience with database development and administration, including SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, PowerShell scripting, IIS hosting, Kerberos, and OIDC authentication
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a dynamic, mission-critical environment
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
