About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of high-volume litigation matters, monitoring case volume, new filings, closures, and active inventory
  • Analyze portfolio KPIs, such as success rate and average closure cost, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities
  • Create and update legal positions based on portfolio data and evolving court interpretations
  • Diagnose case outcomes by analyzing the reasons for wins and losses to guide adjustments to strategies and legal positions
  • Prepare reports and executive analyses based on portfolio data and metrics
  • Manage partner law firms, monitoring case allocation, deadlines, quality of filings, SLAs, reported data, and alignment of legal positions
  • Support continuous improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives for litigation processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • In-house experience and experience with high-volume civil litigation
  • Ability to translate changes in case law into practical adjustments to defense strategies
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to work with data, metrics, and portfolio volume
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and analytical formulas)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing legal positions and preparing executive reports
  • Organization, autonomy, and discipline to manage schedules, priorities, and targets
  • Alignment with a collaborative, partnership-oriented environment that values genuine knowledge-sharing and a positive atmosphere
  • Experience in projects involving legal analytics (jurimetrics) and strategic litigation analysis is a plus
  • Experience with high-volume litigation at financial institutions, fintechs, or companies with a strong focus on consumer law is a plus
  • Familiarity with Claude, Excel, Databricks, Superset, or similar tools is a plus
