About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide and document skilled nursing care
  • Report to Case Managers and/or Clinical Nurse Supervisor
  • Render skilled nursing care according to each patient’s care plan and Physician’s orders
  • Perform treatments and medication administration per care plan
  • Collaborate with MGA personnel, the patient, Physician, and health care team
  • Identify issues of concern and demonstrate critical thinking
  • Complete and submit clinical documentation accurately and on time
  • Report on time and as scheduled
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • RNs and LPNs must hold a valid/unencumbered verification/license to practice the job as described in the state where services are provided
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current TB results or chest X-ray
  • CPR certification as per agency policy
  • Flexibility, organization, and ability to exercise independent and sound judgment
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, stop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms
  • Vision and hearing capabilities within normal limits, with or without aid
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift or move 100 pounds or more if applicable
  • Ability to perform the anticipated level of physical assistance required to provide safe client care
