About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop dynamic web and software applications and services for MGMA members and internal staff
  • Implement software solutions using in-house software platforms and custom software libraries
  • Work with system architecture and defined structures and standards
  • Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot existing applications and web services
  • Develop code within established processes and standards
  • Research and identify technical requirements and analyze business needs with the team
  • Design and implement test procedures
  • Develop new feature requests
  • Share business or technical information with colleagues
  • Coordinate and assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Attend conferences and MGMA events around the country as needed
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot IT equipment and peripherals as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required
  • Three (3) or more years of software development experience working with C#, ASP.Net, SQL, Web API, and Microsoft SQL Server or similar database server
  • Solid understanding and experience with C#, ASP.Net, SQL and Web API
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as Blazor, React, Vue, or Angular
  • Ability to learn and work with MVC, Web API, or ODATA
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong quantitative skills
  • Ability to translate user and business requirements into appropriate technology solutions
  • Ability to develop technical specification documentation
  • Results-oriented and motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Team player able to establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams
  • Must have reliable transportation
