About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex consulting projects in IT strategy, information security, and cyber security
  • Take responsibility for quality, deliverables, and the development of client relationships
  • Develop strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, and roadmaps for modern security organizations in collaboration with clients
  • Advise business units, IT leaders, and management stakeholders, and facilitate complex decision-making processes
  • Identify areas for action, assess risks, and develop sustainable solutions while taking regulatory requirements and technological developments into account
  • Expand the security portfolio through contributions to specialist topics, development of methodologies and consulting approaches, and creation of thought leadership content
  • Monitor current market and technology trends and incorporate them into client advisory work and consulting offerings
  • Take responsibility for business development, strengthen existing client relationships, and support the acquisition of new projects—from identifying opportunities and preparing proposals to presenting them to clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of professional experience in IT strategy consulting, information security, or cyber security—ideally with a proven track record of leading complex client projects
  • In-depth expertise in several of the following areas: information security management, IT governance, IAM/PAM, SIEM, security architecture, cloud security, or IT risk management
  • Experience developing security strategies, enterprise target operating models, and transformation programs, as well as implementing regulatory requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., the ISO/IEC 27001/27000 series, DORA, BAIT, MaRisk, and NIS2)
  • A completed CSIM certification or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Strong consulting skills and experience working with management stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Strong project management expertise, including agile methodologies
  • Experience in client acquisition or developing consulting services
  • Enthusiasm for current security trends and the motivation to actively shape the consulting practice
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and the ability to drive topics forward independently
  • Successfully completed degree in computer science, business information systems, IT security, or a comparable qualification
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
