About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise companies on developing and implementing their IT strategies
Define and advise on IT sourcing activities, including outsourcing, cloud, and multi-vendor/provider management
Analyze IT functions to identify activities suitable for outsourcing and core capabilities that should be retained in-house
Define target architectures and the Target Operating Model (TOM)
Support and lead the development of the target design, provider selection, and transition and transformation initiatives
Conduct market analyses and manage the provider selection process
Support the selection of IT service providers and assist with contract negotiations
Independently manage customer projects as a project manager
Support proposal processes and drive business development activities
Actively contribute to thought leadership on IT sourcing topics
Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and partners
Expand the customer portfolio and contribute to new business acquisition

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of relevant professional and project experience, for example in IT strategy consulting
Experience in functional and/or disciplinary leadership of small project teams
Experience managing and controlling projects in the areas of IT strategy and IT sourcing
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, application management, and IT security, as well as ITIL and SIAM
Demonstrable network and several years of experience in project sales, particularly in new customer acquisition and in developing and maintaining customer relationships
Strong professional positioning as a thought leader
Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field of study
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel
