About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the assigned sales territory independently
- Support existing customers and develop new business opportunities in the truck tire segment
- Manage tire dealers, freight forwarders, and other high-volume customers
- Build long-term customer relationships and position Michelin as a strong partner
- Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored solutions for tires, services, and sustainability
- Help companies make their fleets more cost-effective and efficient
- Identify market opportunities and conduct price and contract negotiations
- Implement measures to increase revenue and margins
- Continuously develop the business in collaboration with Key Account teams
- Represent Michelin at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs
- Coordinate collaboration with internal departments and implement customer-focused solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of field sales experience
- Ideally, knowledge of the transportation, commercial vehicle, or tire industry
- Experience in technical B2B sales in other industries is also welcome
- Ability to build and sustainably develop customer relationships
- Strong self-organization and ability to prioritize multiple topics
- Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset
- Experience working with sales KPIs
- Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce
- Residence in the sales territory, ideally in Kaiserslautern, Landau, or Kusel
- Willingness to travel for training sessions and trade fairs
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
- Good English language skills (at least B2)
