About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent the legal interests of the Michelin Group in the DACH region, both internally and externally, in close cooperation with the person responsible for employment law and labor relations
  • Advise the central and local HR departments of Michelin companies in the DACH region, particularly on individual employment law, occupational health and safety, and employee data protection
  • Analyze business-relevant legal issues and independently develop and advocate appropriate solutions
  • Review and assess employment-law matters arising from corporate-law and personnel-related organizational changes in Germany
  • Support preparations for works council and supervisory board meetings
  • Design and deliver internal training on the operational implementation of legal requirements in employment law and data protection
  • Support the local implementation of Group-wide policies and requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fully qualified lawyer
  • At least three years of professional experience in employment law and data protection
  • Two German State Examinations in Law
  • At least a satisfactory grade in both State Examinations
  • Expert knowledge of employment, social, and data protection law
  • Solid knowledge of antitrust, contract, and corporate law
  • Ability to manage a wide range of different legal matters in parallel
  • Needs- and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, at a level suitable for negotiations (C1)
  • French language skills are an advantage
  • Strong presentation skills in an international context and before larger audiences
  • Reliability, commitment, and resilience
  • Creativity, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team
